June 2009,spotted on the A38, south of Lichfield, is this twin fluorescent installation, manufacturer unknown.

Condition of this pair is poor, it is not known if they are still in use.

This pair are in better condition.

October 2009, the right hand pair of lanterns are actually still working with one lantern running both tubes and the other a single tube. They are remarkeably effective.
